2. Positive Thinking Action: Reading Inspirational Stories

When was the last time you read about someone’s story of how they changed their life or how an animal was saved? Have you seen someone on the television talk about it or show it? I now listen for these stories because they make me feel good and they inspire me. I see how others have overcome obstacles that are so much more difficult than mine and they kept on taking action. Because of this I know I can do it too.

3. Positive Thinking Automation: Eating Right for Positive Thoughts

Have you ever felt good and then eaten something, like chocolate, chips, or some kind of junk food? For some strange reason you felt bad? This happens to me all the time. I love to eat chocolate, chips and junk food. I know that after I eat it I will feel bad or tired and when I feel bad or tired, I think not so positive thoughts. It really is amazing how food can truly change me and my thoughts.

How well do you know yourself? Do you eat appropriately when you need to? If you need to be in good spirits with energy are you eating the foods that can get you there? The reason I bring this up is to make you aware of how food makes us feel.

1. For the next month, write down how you feel before you eat something and what you feel like after you eat something.

2. Start to notice just how powerful food is when it comes to the mind and body. Then the next time you need to feel good, you will already know what kinds of foods to eat that will support that. Plus, if you find you are thinking negative thoughts, maybe it is because of what you ate that day. Be aware!!

4. Positive Thinking Lifestyle: What does that look like for you?

You are the only one who can create what is best for you.

a. If you were to create your own Positive Thinking Lifestyle what would it look like?

b. What kind of people would you surround yourself with?

c. What kind of dwelling would you live in?

d. What would be inside? Pictures on the wall? Art? Antiques? What?

e. What would your family be like? How would they treat each other?

f. What would your health be like?

g. Would you be charitable?

If you have never thought about this, now would be a good time. If you don’t know the answers to this, how will you know when you have gotten there? Can you envision a life that is focused on the positive?

Can Your Positive Thinking Get Any Better?

I thought I did really well when it came to my positive thinking. It wasn’t until I had a small percentage of people in my training sessions speak up about not needing my training. Instead of looking at the positive side of it, I went straight for the negative and thought it was grounds for termination!! When I think negative, I really go negative.

It turned out even better than I expected. I got a greater % of participants testimonials on how good it was and how it helped them, plus, I got to go to a Train the Trainer program, which I loved. I am setting up different kinds of training for the entire company and getting to still put on my own trainings within the company for those who are interested.

This is why I ask the question, can your positive thinking get any better? I know mine can and I work everyday to get a little bit better. How about you? What do you do daily to keep on thinking positive?
